At Booth Built Window & Door Products, Our company’s philosophy is simple: to provide you with quality energy-efficient,  maintenance-free windows that help you lower your energy bills.
By we don’t stop there. We offer windows that have extended life cycles, which helps to keep them hard at work saving energy in our customers homes, from an environmentally sensitive manufacturing process to a recycled content, the goal is to offer high-performance windows that meet or exceed current energy-efficiency standards.
The result? You get exactly what you need in a window and so does the environment.
With high-performance window technology, our customers can have a proven solution to resist Arizona’s extreme heat. How do we do it?
- Warm-edge glass sealant systems insulate the window frame and edge of glass up to 50 percent better than roll-formed metal spacers and up to 90 percent better than aluminum spacer bars.
- Low-E glass includes up to three layers of a thin silver coating that allows ample visible light to pass through, while blocking infrared and ultraviolet radiant solar energy. The result: Cooler rooms. Insulating gases such as argon or krypton, fill our double and triple-pane window products.
Green from start to finish
- The majority of the vinyl is compounded and extruded in-house, which allows reducing waste and controlled recycling efforts. Our manufacturer recycles the vinyl scrap to maximize yield and minimize the impact on local landfills.
- Lead-free PVC vinyl is not petroleum-based, so it’s production requires no burning and generates no harmful gases.
- Reclaimed glass from external and internal sources makes up 24 to 28 percent of the raw materials used to produce glass.
- Extended life cycles for many of the windows help save energy in Arizona’s homes.
TAX CREDIT DETAILS FOR WINDOWS AND DOORS
On February 17, 2009, President Obama signed a stimulus bill (The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009)  that made some significant changes to the energy efficiency tax credits. The highlights are:
- The tax credits that were previously effective for 2009, have been extended to 2010 as well.
- The tax credit has been raised from 10% to 30%.
- The tax credits that were for a specific dollar amount (ex $300 for a CAC), have been converted to 30% of the cost.
- The maximum credit has been raised from $500 to $1500 for the two years (2009–2010). However, some improvements such as geothermal heat pumps, solar water heaters, and solar panels are not subject to the $1,500 maximum.
- The $200 cap on windows has been removed.

Claiming Your Tax Credit
 After establishing your eligibility to claim a Tax Credit for Non-Business Energy Property § 25C, please complete the following to ensure accuracy:
- Request an invoice demonstrating the cost breakout of the window or door components from your contractor. This cost must exclude the cost of onsite preparation, assembly, original installation labor, other components or sales tax.
- Download the applicable Manufacturer's Certificate PDF following the link below (Adobe Acrobat Reader required), as well as retaining the ENERGY STAR® labels from qualified products.
- Retain the contractor invoice, ENERGY STAR® labels and the Manufacturer's Certificate for your IRS records. You are not required to provide this documentation to the IRS, but you will be required to present it if audited.
*All of our vinyl replacement, specialty and new construction windows and patio doors meet the requirements of the Credit for Non-Business Energy Property § 25C tax credit as ENERGY STAR ® label-bearing products. A complete listing of applicable products is available within the manufacturer’s certificate.
